Cylinders perfect for cake packaging

Packaging for cakes wasn’t what we had in mind when we first started making cylinders. In fact, it’s only over time that we’ve realized how perfect for cakes our packaging is. Clear plastic is great because it lets everyone to see your cake while protecting it from the elements. These plastic cylinders make great packaging for cakes.

Measurements now in Imperial sizes as well as Metric

However, because our range wasn’t initially made for cake packaging, our cylinders are made in metric sizes rather than inches.

With that in mind, we have put together a list of cylinders that fit the imperial measurements that cake bakers work in. You will find below the same list twice – once in inches and once in millimetres.

Apart from our cylinders, we have a small range of plastic boxes which have been particularly valued by those who make gingerbread houses. These boxes are similar to a cylinder in the way that they are made. The sides are made from only one piece of plastic with a single glued seam.  The base is actually made to fit inside the base, and then stapled in place. The lid then fits over the top just like a cylinder. They make the perfect package for putting a gingerbread house in.

These boxes come flat packed in three separate boxes – one with the body, one with the lid and one with the base.
